This lamp is comprised of two quartz balls stacked upon one another divided by an inch thick disk of clear acrylic. The top quartz ball is filled in and has a cloudy, milky look while the bottom ball is less opaque almost to the point of seeing right through it. They both sit on top of a thick, square cut base of clear acrylic. Wired and ready to plug in.
